You will hear from local prevention professionals regarding the resources that are available in Northern York County, and the programs that are available specifically for youth substance use prevention.

Placemats & Napkins Set

You can’t have enough placemats! This set of four is made with a featured focus]fabric, surrounded by complimentary flying geese units. You’ll use a rotary cutter method for this easy and enjoyable procedure. We’ll sew scant quarter inch seams, squaring up blocks for accuracy and machine quilting suggestions. Supply list available from adult ed office.

* Sewing machine in good working order

* Your sewing kit (scissors, ripper, threads, pins, bobbins, extra machine needles, etc)

*50 wt thread to match your fabric (I use a gray color thread for most of my piecing)

* Rotary cutter

*Cutting board (if you have one)

* 6" x 12" rectangular ruler

* Omni Grid plastic for bottom of rulers (optional)

* Eleanor Burns Quilt-in-a-Day, Flying Geese ruler, small set (Eleanor Burns web site, Joann Fabrics, or quilt shop in your area)

Fabric

*2/3 yds of novelty or fabric you wish to feature the most

* 1/4 yds of border fabric (bordering the main featured fabric)

*2/3 yds each of 2 different fabrics for the flying geese border on top and bottom of mat

* 1 yd of backing fabric

*1 yd of pellon fusible thermolam plus, #TP971F (Joann-Fabrics)

*1 1/4 yds of matching or coordinating fabric for napkins
