Scalp, Neck and Shoulder Massage Workshop

We hold a lot of stress, tension, and pain in our shoulders and neck. Massage is a healthy, nurturing way to take care of it. Facial and scalp massage is very relaxing and calming to the mind. We’ll go over several techniques and each person will learn how to give the massage and get a chance to receive one.

Wear a shirt that allows easy access to your scalp, neck and top of shoulders. Bring a blanket or mat to lie on.

Come alone or bring a practice partner. $20/per person

 

Sewing for Beginners I

Learn the basics of sewing with us! Start by threading a machine, winding a bobbin and accurately sewing a ¼ inch seam. We’ll introduce you to the different types of threads and needles and even how to clean your sewing machine. Make simple projects to build your skills and gain self-confidence then move on to making your own pillowcases. You must have a working sewing machine, needles and thread to bring to class. Please purchase your own fabric to make the pillowcases for the last two weeks of class. The instructor has a machine available for student use.
